DESCRIPTION:UNCTAD and the Commission of the Economic Community of West Af
 rican States (ECOWAS) are organising the 5th Regional Meeting on the devel
 opment of an ECOWAS E-commerce Strategy bringing together representative
 s of the ECOWAS Commission and two Senior Officials from each ECOWAS membe
 r state\, representing the Ministries responsible for Trade and ICT. \n\n
 The meeting will present the draft ECOWAS E-commerce Strategy to ECOWAS Se
 nior Officials for their final review\, validation\, and onward transmissi
 on to ECOWAS Ministers responsible for Trade.  The meeting will include a
  report by the ECOWAS Commission on key developments in the preparation of
  the ECOWAS E-Commerce Strategy\, as well as detailed presentations of the
  strategy and implementation plan. \n\nThe Regional E-commerce Strategy De
 velopment project in ECOWAS is supported by the government of the Netherla
 nds as part of UNCTAD’s eT Ready Implementation Support Mechanism (ISM).
