Particip ants included producers and exporters of ginger and other agricultural com modities. The first day of the workshop focused on reviewing and validatin g the progress made over the past year under the MSG Green Trade Project. Highlights of the day included the presentation of the voluntary sustainab ility standards (VSS) assessment report on vanilla\, and the unveiling of the Fiji ginger export guide. The day concluded with a review of the NTM d ata collection conducted under the MSG Green Trade Project\, and its ongoi ng integration within IMPACT.\n\nOn the second day\, UNCTAD presented its policy recommendations tied to their work on VSS and non-tariff measures ( NTM). The Pacific Community (SPC)\, a co-organizer\, detailed SAFE’s con tributions towards supporting commodity exports\, particularly regarding s anitary and phytosanitary measures (SPS) in the European Union and region- wide.\n\nThroughout this interactive workshop\, participants made comments and suggestions on the work presented. It also offered an avenue to all t he stakeholders to discuss and debate about the challenges of exporting\, and in particular the difficulty to comply with NTMs and find information about them.\n\n \n\nSummarized outcomes:\n\n-       MSG Green Trade Project: Participants acknowledged the two reports presented by UNCTAD an d requested the incorporation of discussion feedback into these reports. A dditionally\, they recognized the value of the collected NTM data and its potential for integration into the NTM TRAINS database.\n\n-       I MPACT / SAFE: Participants acknowledged the activities to be undertaken un der these two European Union funded projects.
