To do so\, the quadrilateral agreement would provide the general fr amework for the organization and operation of road transport\, also taking into account the development and increase of quadrilateral transport.\n  \nStudy and transitional quadrilateral agreement on the operation of the I SRT single guarantee\n\nTransit trade is one of the longstanding problems in the West Africa and ECOWAS region. The common customs guarantee system covering transport through the transit country to the consignee in the lan dlocked country faces several operational challenges/obstacles and ineffic iencies.
