DESCRIPTION:The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)
  has a project promoting technology assessment (TA) in the energy and agri
 cultural sectors in Africa to accelerate progress in science\, technology 
 and innovation.\n\nAfter the virtual regional workshop organised by UNCTAD
  in July 2023\, Seychelles\, South Africa\, and Zambia have made progress 
 on steps 4 and 5 of the Technology Assessment (TA) methodology. In prepara
 tion for the production of the interim TA report\, a virtual workshop has 
 taken place on 26 October 2023 to review the work completed thus far and t
 o facilitate the sharing of experiences among the three beneficiary countr
 ies regarding project implementation\, challenges encountered\, and lesson
 s learned.\n\nAll members of the steering committee and expert group of Se
 ychelles\, South Africa and Zambia are invited to participate in this virt
 ual workshop. International experts having experience in undertaking techn
 ology assessment are also invited to share their expertise and insights.\n
