DESCRIPTION:The E-Commerce and Digital Economy Branch of UNCTAD\, in cooper
 ation with the Ministry of Trade\, Industry and SME promotion in Côte d&#
 039\;Ivoire\, is organising national consultations in preparation of the d
 evelopment of an E-commerce Strategy in Abidjan on 9 November 2023.\n\nThe
  objective of this meeting is to present an up-to-date diagnostic of the e
 -commerce ecosystem in Côte d’Ivoire across key policy areas and discus
 s challenges faced by several entities from the government\, the private s
 ector and other key actors. The meeting will also be an opportunity to dis
 cuss and validate the strategic priority areas suggested on this basis.\n\
 nThe Côte d&#039\;Ivoire E-commerce Strategy Development Project expands 
 UNCTAD’s ongoing technical assistance on e-commerce in West Africa\, inc
 luding the ECOWAS E-Commerce Strategy adopted last July.\n\nFunding is pro
 vided by the E-commerce and Digital Economy Programme Core Donors (Germany
 \, Switzerland\, Sweden\, and The Netherlands).\n&lt\;p&gt\;The E-Commerce
