DESCRIPTION:The overall purpose of this virtual seminar is to raise awarene
 ss to facilitate the ratification processes of the Protocol and towards ca
 pacity building for the development and negotiations of the regulations fo
 r the implementation of the Protocol.\n\nThe purpose of this event is for:
 \n\n\nraising awareness on the AfCFTA Protocol on Competition Policy\;\nen
 hancing technical capacity of the Member States on Competition policy and 
 law\, in particular in the areas of abuse of dominant position and mergers
  and acquisitions\; and\nexchanging experiences and best practices amongst
  State Parties and the RECs.\n\n\nThis meeting looks forward to achieve:\n
 \n\ntechnical capacity of participants on abuse of dominance and merger an
 alysis enhanced\;\neffective appropriation of the AfCFTA Protocol on compe
 tition Policy by participants\;\nconcrete actions taken by State Parties t
 o expedite the ratification processes of the Protocol on Competition Polic
