 ormance of public and private sector entities is a prerequisite for inform
 ed investment decision- making and remains high on the agenda of finance a
 nd investment policymakers.The substantive agenda items for the forty-firs
 t session are as follows:Review of progress in harmonization and practical
  implementation of sustainability reporting\, assurance and ethical consid
 erations. Integrating reporting on the financial and sustainability perfo
 rmance of entities: Leveraging digitalization. Additional topics will be 
 considered under other business.The session will be preceded by a consulta
 tive meeting on capacity-building needs for the effective implementation o
 f sustainability reporting requirements to be held on 5 November 2024. Pa
 rticipationThis meeting is open to all member States of UNCTAD. Other orga
 nizations\, including specialized agencies\, intergovernmental bodies and
