 scuss ways of improving worldwide cooperation on competition policy implem
 entation and enhancing convergence through dialogue.The United Nations Set
  of Principles on Competition provides the basis for intergovernmental con
 sultations.Deliberations at the twenty-second session of the Intergovernme
 ntal Group of Experts will focus on the following topics:Report on the imp
 lementation of the guiding policies and procedures under section F of the 
 Set of Multilaterally Agreed Equitable Principles and Rules for the Contro
 l of Restrictive Business Practices.Report of the working group on cross-b
 order cartels.Enforcing competition law in digital markets and ecosystems:
  Policy challenges and options.Round table on competition policy and pover
 ty reduction.Round table on recent developments in merger control standard
 s.Voluntary peer review of competition law and policy: Egypt.Review of cap
 acity-building in and technical assistance on competition law and policy.W
 ritten contributionsIn order to facilitate the deliberations and the infor
 mal exchange of experiences and best practices on the topics to be discuss
 ed\, member States and observers are requested to submit written contribut
 ions to the UNCTAD secretariat by Friday\, 7 June 2024\, to allow particip
 ants to prepare for the meeting.ParticipationThis meeting is open to all m
 ember States of UNCTAD. Other organizations\, including specialized agenci
 es\, intergovernmental bodies and non-governmental organizations in the ge
 neral category\, may participate as observers.RegistrationOnline registrat
 ion\, at is mandatory for all those wishing to attend the meeting and is r
 equired for inclusion in the list of participants.LogisticsThe session wil
 l be held with physical participation in Room XIX of the Palais des Nation
