 ional Economic and Social Development Plan (PNDES-2016-2020) and then the 
 National Development Reference Framework (RND-2021-2025) to promote econom
 ic and social development and reduce poverty and inequality.\n\nThere are 
 also other ambitious initiatives. Despite all the efforts made by successi
 ve governments\, the challenge remains.\n\nWith this in mind\, UNCTAD is o
 rganising a virtual seminar to identify the most effective policies for re
