DESCRIPTION:South-South cooperation flows: insights from methodological dev
 elopments and existing country quantificationIn a time marked by rapid cha
 nge and compounding challenges\, the global landscape of international dev
 elopment cooperation is undergoing a transformative shift\, especially as 
 the world surpasses the halfway mark to achieving the sustainable developm
 ent goals (SDGs) by 2030. South-South cooperation can play an essential ro
 le\, alongside other development support\, in enhancing development effort
 s and results through mutual sharing of good practices\, pooling resources
 \, and exchanging know-how between countries of the global South. Thanks 
 to the joint efforts of the Global South\, for the first time\, there is n
 ow a global\, voluntary Conceptual Framework to measure South-South Cooper
 ation. In the session countries will share their experience in measuring S
 outh-South cooperation for strategic management of international cooperati
 on flows to advance sustainable development in the global South. The sess
 ion will share recent conceptual and methodological developments in quanti
 fying South-South cooperation flows. Pioneering countries will show how be
 tter data can support more efficient policy measures and contribute to glo
