 ic Commission for Africa (ECA) are co-organizing this event to bring toget
 her different stakeholders to discuss the key findings for Africa from UNC
 TAD’s Digital Economy Report 2024.The report highlights the urgent need 
 for sustainable strategies throughout the life cycle of digitalization. Th
 e rapid pace and expanding scope of digitalization make it increasingly im
 portant to understand the relationship between digitalization and environm
 ental sustainability.The objective of this event is to highlight the urgen
 t need for systematic shifts in the ICT sector to protect our planet and e
 nsure the well-being of all.The aim is to explore ways to achieve economic
  prosperity while conserving our planet and promoting intergenerational eq
 uity. Additionally\, the event seeks to generate actionable policy recomme
 ndations and foster strategic collaborations to address the dual challenge
 s of digitalization and environmental sustainability in Africa. &lt\;p&gt
