DESCRIPTION:On 3 October 2024\, UNCTAD\, in collaboration with the World Tr
 ade Organization (WTO)\, held a WTO TBT Notification Training at the Laman
 a Hotel in Port Moresby. Organized with the support of the Papua New Guine
 a National Trade Office (NTO) and the National Institute of Standards &amp
 \; Industrial Technology (NISIT)\, the workshop aimed to enhance the capac
 ity of government officials in fulfilling transparency obligations under t
 he WTO and other trade agreements\, such as the Economic Partnership Agree
 ment (EPA). Participants also received an introduction to the E-ping syste
 m and learned how to submit notifications. This workshop was organized un
 der the Improving Pacific Islands Customs and Trade (IMPACT) project\, fun
 ded by the European Union.&lt\;p&gt\;On 3 October 2024\, UNCTAD\, in colla
