 nd the Pacific (ESCAP) and Western Asia (ESCWA)\, will host online the ope
 ning ceremony of the course &quot\;The Use of Blockchain for Trade Facilit
 ation” on 26 November 2024\, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. (CET). This course 
 explores the concept of blockchain and raises awareness on the possibiliti
 es and obstacles associated with using such technology in trade facilitati
 on. Additionally\, it provides a practical understanding for decision-make
 rs and practitioners about the advantages\, conditions and adequate enviro
 nment needed to ensure the successful implementation of blockchain technol
 ogy. The event is open to all stakeholders who have previously registered
  for the course. Registrations can be done via the landing page of the Cou
 rse on the use of blockchain. During the event\, there will be an introdu
 ction to the course methodology\, followed by the release and presentation
  of the first module\, &quot\;Understanding the potential use of blockchai
 n for trade facilitation&quot\;\, delivered by experts in blockchain. The
