DESCRIPTION:The global trade landscape is increasingly dominated by service
 s\, spanning finance\, technology\, tourism\, education\, and beyond. As s
 ervices trade becomes a key driver of economic growth\, the need for accur
 ate\, timely\, and comparable trade in services statistics is more critica
 l than ever. However\, many countries face persistent challenges in compil
 ing such data due to methodological complexities\, resource constraints\, 
 and evolving international standards.ObjectiveThis side event aims to show
 case the Trade-in-Services Information System (TiSSTAT)\, developed by UNC
 TAD\, as an innovative solution to these challenges. TiSSTAT is designed t
 o enhance the capacity of national statistical institutions\, providing th
 em with tools to collect\, compile\, and disseminate trade in services dat
 a that meet international standards.Key features of TiSSTATIntegrated Ques
 tionnaire: Simplifies data collection from various stakeholders.Multi-User
  Application: Facilitates collaboration among statistical offices.Methodol

 d international negotiations. TiSSTAT addresses these gaps by ensuring acc
 urate data collection\, thus supporting evidence-based policies that enhan
 ce countries&#039\; integration into global services markets.Event highlig

  the technical aspects of TiSSTAT\, and engage in discussions on improving
