DESCRIPTION:The  Government of Fiji  will officially launch its National 
 E-commerce Strategy 2025–2029 (NECS). This strategy was developed in col
 laboration with UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Ministry of Trad
 e\, Co-operatives\, Micro\, Small\, and Medium Enterprises and Communicati
 ons\, with the support of the Australian Government under the Pacific Digi
 tal Economy Programme.The National E-commerce Strategy marks a strategic s
 hift in Fiji’s trade and economic development agenda\, reinforcing the c
 ountry’s commitment to modernising its trade systems\, fostering innovat
 ion\, and supporting a dynamic and competitive economy. It aligns with bro
 ader national priorities of resilience\, sustainability\, and inclusivity\
 , guiding policymakers and development partners towards a forward-looking 
 vision for Fiji’s digital transformation.The strategy presents a compreh
 ensive five-year roadmap tailored to Fiji’s unique context\, shaped thro
 ugh extensive consultations with government entities\, business associatio
 ns\, industry experts\, civil society groups\, and development partners. I
 t builds on the 2021 National E-commerce Assessment\, conducted by the Pac
 ific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS)\, and aligns with the Pacific Region
 al E-commerce Strategy and Roadmap.The Pacific Digital Econom Programme (P
 DEP) is a joint initiative between UNDP\, UNCDF UNCTAD to support the deve
 lopment of inclusive digital economies in the Pacific. The PDEP is jointly
  supported by the European Union\, and the Australian and New Zealand Gove
 rnments.&lt\;p&gt\;The &amp\;nbsp\;Government of Fiji &amp\;nbsp\;will off
