DESCRIPTION:The Commission on Science and Technology for Development will h
 old its 2025-2026 inter-sessional panel meeting with physical participatio
 n on 17 November 2025\, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. The panel 
 will address the priority theme on Science\, Technology and Innovation in 
 the age of AI.At the meeting\, the Chair of the Working Group on Data Gove
 rnance as Relevant for Development at All Levels will also report on the p
 rogress the Working Group has made.The findings and recommendations of the
  panel will be considered at the twenty-ninth session of the Commission in
  2026.Participation and registrationParticipants will include representati
 ves from national Governments\, international organizations\, the private 
 sector and civil society.Representatives of other organizations\, includin
 g non-governmental organizations in the general and special categories\, s
 hould hold consultative status with the Economic and Social Council or hav
 e received accreditation from the World Summit on the Information Society.
