DESCRIPTION:Since 2022\, UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has led a projec
 t on Integrated Policy Strategies and Regional Policy Coordination for Res
 ilient\, Green and Transformative Development: Supporting Selected Asian B
 RI Partner Countries to Achieve 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda\, fund
 ed by by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Sub-Fund of the UN Pe
 ace and Development Trust Fund.The project aimed to support four major dev
 eloping countries in Asia – Türkiye\, Kazakhstan\, Malaysia and Pakista
 n - in their efforts to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) rela
 ted to green transformation. Specifically\, the project was designed to as
 sist these countries in achieving the 2030 Agenda through: 1) developing e
 ffective integrated policy strategies to address key challenges related to
  green industrial development\; 2) improving capacity at the national leve
 l to design appropriate policies\, including through South-South peer-lear
 ning\; and 3) strengthening economic cooperation and policy coordination a
 t the regional level.This second regional meeting\, to be held in Shanghai
 \, China\, on 9 and 10 July 2025 and co-hosted by UNCTAD and CAITEC\, has 
 three main objectives:For experts and local partners from the four project
  countries\, to share experiences with evolving green transformation polic
 y agendas and integrated policy strategies in their countriesFor invited e
 xperts and officials from other interested countries in the region to prov
 ide insights from their national experiences with green development and re
 levant policy debates and issuesThe launch of an Asia Green Development Pa
 rtnership Network (AGDPN) by UNCTAD\, together with prospective members. T
 he purpose of the AGDPN is to disseminate policy research products\, encou
 rage policy experiences sharing\, bridge and incubate concrete cooperation
  in the policy areas of green development and economic diversification in 
 the Asian region.As a multi-stakeholder partnership network\, the AGDPN wi
 ll be an informal and non-governmental mechanism and will be self-governed
  by its members through a virtual platform managed by UNCTAD. UNCTAD will 
 introduce the platform and the Terms of Reference (ToRs) of the AGDPN duri
 ng this regional meeting.The meeting will be conducted in English and Chin
