Target 19 under Sustainable Development Goal 17 a nd the Pact for the Future both call for metrics that go beyond GDP\, to b ridge the information gap and make the “invisible” visible in policy d ecisions.Participants at this event will be invited to engage with the Uni ted Nations Secretary-General’s high-level expert group on the Beyond GD P project\, supported jointly by UNCTAD\, the Department of Economic and S ocial Affairs\, the United Nations Development Programme and the Executive Office of the Secretary-General.
