 5 member states have been working to reach a consensus on the text to be a
 dopted at UNCTAD16.This negotiating text outlines their vision for address
 ing current economic challenges and sets the organization&#039\;s work pri
 orities for the next four years.Intensive negotiations began on 20 Februar
 y 2025\, during the first session of the Preparatory Committee (Prepcom)\,
  and will continue during the sessions of UNCTAD16&#039\;s Committee of th
 e Whole.The Chair of the Committee is H.E. Ambassador Paul Bekkers from th
 e Kingdom of the Netherlands\, who also serves as the President of the Tra
 de and Development Board. &lt\;p&gt\;&amp\;nbsp\;&lt\;/p&gt\;&lt\;p&gt\;S
