 al blueprint for countries to develop and strengthen consumer protection l
 aws and policies.As the focal point for consumer protection within the Uni
 ted Nations system\, UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) plays a key role in
  promoting the implementation of these guidelines\, supporting countries i
 n designing and implementing effective consumer policies.As the world face
 s new challenges – from digital transformation and climate change to soc
 io-economic inequalities – consumer protection policies must evolve to e
