DESCRIPTION:The E-Commerce and Digital Economy Branch of UNCTAD\, in cooper
 ation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Modernization of the
  Administration of Mauritania (MTNMA) and GIZ\, is organizing national con
 sultations on 29 and 30 October 2025. These consultations will bring toget
 her stakeholders from public and private sectors\, academia\, civil societ
 y and development partners to review and validate the national e-commerce 
 strategy of Mauritania.The development of this strategy is a key recommend
 ation of the eTrade Readiness Assessment of Mauritania published by UNCTAD
  in 2024. The National E-commerce Strategy of Mauritania is being develop
 ed with financial contribution from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Interna
 tionale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the ECDE Core Donors (Australia\, Sw
 itzerland\, Sweden\, and the Kingdom of the Netherlands). &lt\;p&gt\;The 
 E-Commerce and Digital Economy Branch of UNCTAD\, in cooperation with the
