DESCRIPTION:As part of UNCTAD’s “Sustainable Smart Ports (SSP) for Afri
 can Countries” UNDA project\, this capacity-building workshop aims to st
 rengthen the skills and knowledge of port stakeholders in line with the en
 ergy transition priorities of Port of Tema. The programme will focus on re
 newable energy production\, consumption and distribution\, electrification
  of port operations\, and energy efficiency management. These topics refle
 ct the priority areas for action identified in the SSP Assessment Report o
 f the port.Stakeholders will be introduced to practical tools\, methodolog
 ies\, and decision-support approaches to help them advance their respectiv
 e SSP goals\, including through joint and coordinated action.The training 
 will also showcase best practices from other ports and provide technical i
 nsights through expert-led discussions.The workshop is by invitation only 
 and targets a wide range of stakeholders involved in port operations\, ene
 rgy planning\, and sustainability implementation.&lt\;p&gt\;As part of UNC
