DESCRIPTION:The training workshop on the use of CEFTA Market Access Barrier
 s Database (MABD) is organized by UNCTAD on 5 November 2025 in Skopje\, No
 rth Macedonia within the EU funded project: EU4Business support to CEFTA f
 or Non-Tariff Measures monitoring and reporting and support to the impleme
 ntation of the CEFTA Dispute Settlement Mechanism.The main objective of th
 e workshop is to build capacity and knowledge of the CEFTA Parties and CEF
 TA Secretariat on utilization of the upgraded CEFTA MABD tool\, the new fu
 nctionalities of the system\, new problem categories in MABD including pro
 cedural obstacles and services alongside with the NTMs. Parties will have 
 the opportunity to test the system on the basis of hypothetical claims pro
 vided in group exercises. The aim is to build and enhance the capacity of 
 CEFTA Parties on the use of MABD\, taking advantage of the benefits of the
  updated version of the system that incorporates all agreed changes.The wo

 mentsOverview (purpose\, structure\, users)Main functionalities and change
 s to the systemNon-Tariff Measures (NTMs)Procedural Obstacles (POs)Service

 rkshop are representatives from CEFTA Parties and the CEFTA Secretariat. 
 Parties and the Secretariat will be granted the opportunity to test the up
 graded system and the new guidelines/MABD User Manual will be prepared and
