The eTRT is an online platform designed by UNCTAD to help lead Government agencies coord inate more effectively the implementation of national and regional e-comme rce strategies. The purpose of the workshop is to enhance the skills of EC OWAS Commission officials in the use of the tracker and support the implem entation and coordination of the Regional ECOWAS E-commerce Strategy 2023- 2027.This event is part of UNCTAD’s long-standing support for the develo pment of e-commerce and the digital economy in ECOWAS\, including an eTrad e Readiness Assessment of ECOWAS Member States published in 2022 and the s ubsequent development of the Regional ECOWAS E-commerce Strategy adopted i n July 2023. Following the launch of the Regional E-commerce Committee in July 2025 to strengthen the governance framework of the regional strategy.
