DESCRIPTION:The inaugural Steering Group meeting will set the foundation fo
 r guiding the CARICOM project aimed at enhancing evidence-based policymaki
 ng and strengthening economic resilience across the region. The session wi
 ll begin with the formal agreement of the meeting agenda and the Terms of 
 Reference (ToR) for the Steering Committee\, establishing the group’s ma
 ndate\, responsibilities\, and working arrangements.Participants will then
  review the outcomes of the recent event held in Barbados\, focusing on it
 s main findings and how they inform the project’s direction. This discus
 sion will help identify key lessons and ensure continuity as the project m
 oves into implementation.A central item on the agenda will be the identifi
 cation of priority sectors to be analysed throughout the project. This sel
 ection will shape both the statistical work and policy assessments to be u
 ndertaken in the coming months.The meeting will also confirm the designate
