DESCRIPTION:This capacity building training is organized in the context of 
 UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD)&#039\;s UN Development Account project\,
  “Stronger and Greener Productive Capacities for Just Transitions in Car
 ibbean Small Island Developing States (SIDS).” Main objectives:To build
  statistical capacities of the Dominican Republic through the training of 
 national statistical experts to compute and interpret country-specific Pro
 ductive Capacities Index (PCI) scores\;To share statistical and methodolog
 ical\, as well as computational aspects of the PCI and to expose national 
 statisticians to the PCI\;To enhance the capacity of the Dominican Republi
 c’s statistical experts to initiate processes to enhance the validity of
  the results for the Dominican Republic\;To explore how the PCI can be use
 d in national statistics and policy-making processes\;To foster a network 
 of national statisticians who work and exchange on PCI\, including the SID
 S satellite PCI\; andTo collect feedback for the Statistical and Technical
  Advisory Group (STAG) of the PCI.&lt\;p&gt\;This capacity building traini
