  Development Account Project\, &quot\;Stronger and greener productive capa
 cities for just transitions in Caribbean Small Island Developing States&qu
 ot\;\, this workshop will discuss the current trends in socio-economic dev
 elopment of Jamaica\, progress achieved and challenges encountered.Views w
 ill be exchanged on Jamaica’s national development strategy and UNCTAD
 ’s strategy for SIDS\, with particular attention to enablers and facilit
 ators of growth\, structural transformation and economic diversification.
  The workshop aims to relate the concepts of productive capacities and st
 ructural economic transformation to Jamaica&#039\;s development endeavours
 \, including policy implications for inclusive growth and sustainable deve
 lopment.The session will discuss UNCTAD’s Productive Capacities Index (P
 CI)\, which is an innovative approach applied by UNCTAD to measure and ben
 chmark the level of development of productive capacities\, and the Nationa
 l Productive Capacities Gap Assessment as the prelude for building product
 ive capacities.It will examine Jamaica&#039\;s PCI and discuss the success
  stories of building productive capacities and accelerating structural eco
