 ecting the core value propositions of UNCTAD’s research mandate\, the wi
 nning papers should meet the following criteria:Original and innovative re
 search.Analysis of topical issues\, including explicit policy implications
  and recommendation.Focus on investment and development (i.e.\, how to ens
 ure that international investment and multinational enterprises contribute
  to sustainable development). Research areas may include topics shaping th
 e future of investment\, such as:Digital transformationGender and inclusiv
 e investmentSustainable and resilient infrastructureInvestment in climate 
 change\, notably adaptation and mitigationGlobal value chains and global g
 eopolitical dynamicsOther emerging drivers of global developmentThe paper 
 must not have been previously published. Co-authorship is permitted provid
