DESCRIPTION:The Debt Management Conference provides a biennial forum for sh
 aring experiences and exchanging views among Governments\, international o
 rganizations\, academia and civil society on current developments in the d
 ebt landscape in developing countries and on debt management issues in the
  broader macroeconomic context.It brings together senior-level officials a
 nd national debt managers from around the world to discuss some of the mos
 t pertinent current topics in the field. Around 500 participants from over
  100 countries\, as well as senior representatives of international\, regi
 onal and other institutions\, participated in the 14th session of the conf
 erence\, held in March 2025.Participation and registrationThe 15th Debt Ma
 nagement Conference will be held in person in the Council Chamber of the P
 alais des Nations in Geneva\, Switzerland. Registration is required.Only e
 ligible participants may attend in person. Others can follow the discussio
 ns online (audio only). Registered participants unable to attend in person
  will receive a link to access the live audio stream in the six official U
 N languages one day before the session begins.Who may attend in person?In-
 person participation is open to:Government officials and delegates from UN
 CTAD member statesRepresentatives of other organizations\, including speci
 alized agencies\, intergovernmental bodies and accredited non-governmental
  organizations (general and special categories) as observersAcademics and 
 private sector representatives as observersExperts with proven expertise i
 n the subject matterRelated meeting: Debt Management and Financial Analysi
 s System (DMFAS) Advisory GroupFollowing the Debt Management Conference\, 
 the DMFAS Advisory Group will convene donors\, beneficiaries and partners
  to examine the programme’s capacity-building activities and discuss fut
 ure priorities and strategic direction.Who may participate in the advisory
  group?Participation is limited to countries that use UNCTAD’s debt mana
