  cooperation with the Union for the Mediterranean

DESCRIPTION:The Workshop jointly organized by UNCTAD and the UfM on Key Iss
 ues in International Investment Policy Reform will be held on 17 June 2026
  at the Palais des Nations. The event will gather experts to examine curre
 nt challenges and reform efforts in international investment policy.Mornin
 g sessions will cover global trends in International Investment Agreements
  (IIAs)\, developments in investor-State dispute settlement (ISDS)\, and t
 he impact of geopolitical turbulence on IIAs. Discussions will focus on UN
 CTAD’s Guiding Principles on IIA Reform\, investment facilitation in IIA
 s\, and the role of investment promotion agencies in reform processes. The
  workshop will conclude with a session preparing for the World Investment 
 Forum.The participants of this by-invitation-only workshop are from the Uf
 M Member States\, particularly government officials and experts involved i
 n investment policymaking.Registration details and logistical information
