DESCRIPTION:The workshop will consist of statistical and methodological tra
 ining for statisticians on the Productive Capacities Index (PCI).The main 
 objectives of the statistical training are:To build statistical capacities
  of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) through training of national st
 atistical experts to compute and interpret a country-specific Productive C
 apacities Index (PCI).To share statistical and methodological as well as c
 omputational aspects of the PCI and to expose national statisticians to UN
 CTAD’s PCI.To enhance the capacity of DRC’s statistical experts to ini
 tiate processes to enhance the validity of the results for the country.To 
 explore how the PCI can be used in national statistics and policy-making p
 rocesses.To foster a network of national statisticians who work and exchan
 ge on PCI.To collect feedback for the Statistical and Technical Advisory G
 roup (STAG) of the PCI. &lt\;p&gt\;The workshop will consist of statistic
