DESCRIPTION:Focal Points from developing countries and regional organizatio
 ns partnering with the E-Commerce and Digital Economy Programme of UNCTAD 
 will participate in the eTrade Capacity Building Workshop. This activity i
 s part of the eTrade Implementation Support Mechanism (ISM) and is organiz
 ed back-to-back with the meeting of the 9th session of the Intergovernment
 al Group of Experts (IGE) on E-commerce and the Digital Economy (11-13 May
  2026).The workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to engage
  in in-depth discussions on key topics with experts and practitioners\, fr
 om UNCTAD and other development partners\, including eTrade for all partne
 rs. Thematic sessions will cover: i) Implementing Indirect Taxation and Re
 venue Collection Systems relevant for Digital Trade\, ii) Coordinated Acti
 on\, Results Monitoring\, and Sustainable and Integrated Financing for E-C
 ommerce and Digital Trade Reforms\, iii) The Future of Digital Trade – W
 TO MC14 Outcomes and Regional Pathways for Developing Countries.Since 2020
 \, UNCTAD’s eTrade ISM has supported developing and least developed coun
 tries\, along with regional organizations\, in strengthening their capacit
 ies to design and implement e-commerce and digital trade reforms identifie
 d through eTrade Readiness Assessments and in national and regional E-comm
 erce Strategies. The ISM aims to foster knowledge sharing and skills enhan
 cement\, peer-learning and South–South cooperation\, as well as connecti
