SUMMARY:National validation workshop on the Vulnerability Profile of Rwanda

DESCRIPTION:UNCTAD\, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and Econo
 mic Planning of Rwanda (MINECOFIN)\, will host a two-day Validation Worksh
 op in Kigali.The workshop will validate the preliminary findings of the Vu
 lnerability Profile of Rwanda and facilitate an inclusive\, multi-stakehol
 der dialogue on the country’s prospective graduation from the LDC catego
 ry.Interactive discussions are intended to enable a deeper understanding o
 f the challenges raised by the Vulnerability Profile: prospects\, opportun
 ities and challenges Rwanda is likely to face on the road to graduation an
 d as a graduated LDC\; policy options necessary to address identified chal
 lenges\; potential limitations in institutional capacity\; and the role de
 sired of development partners in supporting Rwanda in its efforts to build
  graduation momentum.The workshop will bring together approximately 40-50 
 technical-level participants\, including representatives from across gover
 nment entities and regulatory institutions\; as well as the private sector
  (e.g. Chamber of Commerce and Services\, Private Sector Federation\, and/
 or other business associations in key export sectors). There will also be 
 representatives from academia and key national think tanks.   &lt\;p&gt
 \;UNCTAD\, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Plann
