DESCRIPTION:Recently\, UNCTAD prepared a generic toolkit entitled “Policy
  and Institutional Frameworks for Science\, Technology and Innovation Park
 s - Proposed Guidelines for Developing Countries” for supporting policy
 makers in developing countries in designing and implementing such framewor
 ks. During the informal STI Park Expert Network meeting held on 1 June 2
 026\, coordinated by UNCTAD\, the need for a deeper understanding of the t
 oolkit and how it is used in different countries or STI parks was discusse
 d. One of the STI Park experts\, Dr Rajendra Jagdale\, Director General a
 nd CEO of Science and Technology Park\, Pune\, India\, made a substantial 
 contribution to this toolkit. He volunteered to give a presentation on how
  to customize the toolkit and facilitate the related discussion among part
 icipants. ParticipationThe meeting is open to countries having participat
 ed in the STI park project and other countries\, in particular those havin
 g expressed an interest in technical assistance from UNCTAD. All stakehol
 ders from these countries (i.e. policymakers at governments\, experts from
  academia\, industries\, real estate developers\, and STI park managers) a
 re welcome to participate in this online event. RegistrationPrior registr
