DESCRIPTION:UN GA Resolution 79/1 requests the United Nations Commission on
  Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) to establish a dedicated wo
 rking group to undertake a multistakeholder dialogue on data governance at
  all levels as relevant for development. On the basis of the consultations
  undertaken in this context\, the CSTD Bureau decided on 17 March 2025 tha
 t the UN CSTD Multi- Stakeholder Working Group on Data Governance at All L
 evels would comprise 27 State members and 27 non-State members. The compos
 ition of the Working Group is provided in the attached annex.See: Note on
  MembershipThis meeting of the Working Group is the seventh in a series ai
 med at preparing the progress report for the 81st session of the United Na
 tions General Assembly.ParticipationMember States of the United Nations th
 at are not members of the Working Group may attend the meeting as observer
 s. The meeting is likewise open to representatives of academia\, business\
 , civil society\, the technical community\, international organizations an
 d other non-governmental stakeholder groups.Registration is mandatory for 
 all participants and should be completed online.The session will be held w
 ith physical participation at the WIPO Building. Those who cannot attend t
 he meeting in person will be able to follow via Zoom. Participants who wil
 l attend the meeting remotely will receive the Zoom link by e-mail upon ap
