DESCRIPTION:The E-Commerce and Digital Economy Branch of UNCTAD\, in cooper
 ation with the Ministry of Trade\, Agribusiness and Industry in Ghana will
  hold a Capacity-Building Workshop on Inclusive E-commerce and Digital Tra
 de on 11 August 2026 in Accra. The workshop aims to support the inclusive
  implementation of the National E-commerce Strategy by identifying barrier
 s to and opportunities for persons with disabilities and other marginalize
 d groups\, enhancing key stakeholders&#039\; understanding of issues relat
 ed to inclusive e-commerce and digital trade\, and strengthening their cap
 acity to incorporate inclusion-related measures into the strategy&#039\;s 
 implementation. The event will gather government officials\, representati
 ves from organisations of persons with disabilities and other marginalized
  groups\, the private sector and development partners in Ghana.The elabora
 tion and implementation of the Ghana E-commerce Strategy takes place in th
 e framework of the UN Joint SDG Fund Digital Transformation Window 2023\, 
 implemented by UNCTAD in partnership with the United Nations Capital Devel
 opment Fund (UNCDF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)\, 
 and coordinated by the UN Resident Coordinator Office (UNRCO). The joint 
 programme focuses on leveraging digital ecosystems for increased MSME prod
 uctivity and will enhance the capacity of policy makers to lead\, plan\, i
 mplement and monitor e-commerce reforms that contribute to inclusive and s
 ustainable development. &lt\;p&gt\;The E-Commerce and Digital Economy Bra
