A new agreement will bolster UNCTAD’s work to help ports in developing countries improve operations and speed up trade.

The funding extends an ongoing partnership that has supported over 25 countries to expedite the movement of goods and strengthen public-private collaboration.

The pandemic has, however, resulted in mixed fortunes for some e-commerce companies, reversing the profits of firms offering services such as ride-hailing and travel.
