Experts discuss ways to make it easier for companies to report how they are contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and honour leading initiatives.

The ISAR awards have grown from strength to strength, with nearly 150 nominated for the awards by organizations from 40 countries representing six geographical regions, since they were launched in 2018.

UNCTAD’s eRegulations programme, which helps countries cut red tape and ensure transparency for business rules and procedures, should be expanded to all 28 member countries of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), the Organization has announced.​

Noting that the impact of the global financial crisis on the world economy has underscored the interconnectedness of the health of large global enterprises and the livelihoods of ordinary people, UNCTAD Secretary-General Supachai Panitchpakdi has called for strengthening of oversight by corporate directors on behalf of their shareholders.
