Ports face many technical and economic challenges. At the same time, they play a crucial role in international trade and global supply chains.

Ports today must work towards high levels of adaptability and preparedness while also striving for modernization and economic inclusivity.

Through strategic partnerships, effective governance, and optimized operations, ports can become vital engines of economic development, connecting nations, stimulating trade, and contributing to the overall well-being of societies.

The session will bring together port industry professionals to engage and learn from real-life examples, discussing today’s most pressing issues regarding efficient and competitive port management.

Issues discussed will include environmental sustainability, digitalization and automation, security, labour and the workforce, supply chain resilience, regulatory compliance, inter-modal connectivity and female inclusivity.
