First meeting of the Preparatory Committee for UNCTAD XIV

As announced at the sixty-second session of the Trade and Development Board, the first meeting of the Preparatory Committee for UNCTAD XIV will take place on Friday, 2 October 2015 at 10 a.m. in room XXVI of the Palais des Nations.

At the meeting, regional groups will be invited to make general statements presenting positions and visions of UNCTAD XIV and its outcome. Thereafter, member States wishing to do so, will also be invited to make statements.

Regional coordinators and member States wishing to make statements are encouraged to inform the secretariat prior to the meeting (at correspondence@unctad.org).
