From 17 to 28 February 2014, 25 middle managers from Indonesian ports will participate in Module 3 and Module 4 of UNCTAD's Modern Port Management course. These managers completed Modules 1 & 2 in December 2013. The training is part of the UNCTAD TrainForTrade* Port Training Programme.

Senior managers from Indonesia Port Corporation (PELINDO) trained by UNCTAD will deliver the training alongside senior managers from Dublin Port Company, one of the programme's port partners.

Module 3 examines the functioning of a port system. Module 4 focuses on the future challenges for ports, including environmental management and security issues. UNCTAD will deliver the following four training modules over the course of the year.
