The Empretec Fundraising Crash Course is designed to help early-stage start-up founders understand what it takes to raise their first round of funding. Organized by UNCTAD, the Social Development Bank, and Empretec Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program, the course walks participants through the full fundraising journey - from creating a strong investment model to preparing and delivering a compelling investor pitch.
Over three days, founders will explore what investors look for, how to define their financial “ask,” and how to structure their pitch deck. The final day includes a pitching simulation, where participants present their ideas in small groups and receive live feedback from seasoned investors.
Led by a team of investment experts and start-up mentors, the course is open to founders across sectors and is part of the broader effort to strengthen enterprise development in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
