Empretec is based on a methodology designed specifically for new entrepreneurial thinking and has been successfully applied by more than 550,000 entrepreneurs over 30 years.

Training is delivered by over 500 certified trainers who are themselves entrepreneurs.

About the workshops

The Empretec training programme targets SMEs with a track record of good business performance, potential entrepreneurs with promising business ideas, and start-up companies with bankable project proposals.

  • Empretec Training Workshops for all types of entrepreneurs
  • Empretec Startup Programme: Diverse tracks from half a day to 4-5 days targeting founders and CEOs at different stages of business development and business sectors
  • Empretec Induction Workshops: 10 hours, spread over a few days
  • Webinars: Flexible online sessions

Most workshops are combined with mentoring and advisory services, study tours as well as other business development services.

Participation in the Empretec programme should lead to business growth, job creation, increased investment, inclusion in value chains and enhanced competitiveness and innovation.

How to apply

Participants go through a rigorous selection system based on recommendations and interviews in which both personal proven entrepreneurial competencies and an innovative approach to business are addressed.

Fees

Workshop fees vary from country to country, depending on the local context and the availability of donor funding.
