

Mr. Gerald Mwila is a Professional Geologist with over 20 years of experience in the mining and natural resources sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Mineral Sciences Degree in Geology (BMinSc.) from The University of Zambia, a Post graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (PgDip-GIS) from University of Applied Sciences TFH – Berlin, and a Master of Science degree in Tropical Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology and Environmental Management (MSc. TropHEE) from Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany.
His extensive expertise spans mining geology, exploration geology, engineering geology, hydrogeology, mineral resource evaluation, geological mapping, remote sensing, and geographic information systems (GIS). He also possesses valuable experience in marine geology as well as water and sanitation projects. In 2024, he was appointed as a member of the UN Secretary General’s Panel on Critical Energy Transition Minerals and he is currently a member of the Environmental Governance Programme (EGP) Advisory Board.
Mr. Mwila is recognized for his strong technical competence and innovative approach to geological problem-solving, having contributed to numerous projects that have enhanced resource evaluation and sustainable mineral development. With a career built on scientific excellence and practical experience, he remains deeply committed to advancing geological research, capacity building, and the responsible utilization of natural resources in Zambia and beyond

Alphonse Claude N'Silou serves as the Minister of Trade, Supplies and Consumer Affairs of the Republic of the Congo
He is a prominent political figure in the Republic of the Congo and a key contributor to the country's development for several decades.
An architect by training, he graduated from the University of Rome in Italy. Mr. N’SILOU initially worked in the private sector as a business leader and real estate developer before dedicating his career to public service.
His governmental career is marked by remarkable longevity and expertise. He began as Minister of Equipment and Public Works from 1992 to 1993. He later led the Ministry of Construction, Urban Planning, Housing, and Living Environment from 2002 to 2017, where he oversaw numerous large-scale infrastructure projects for the country.
Since 2017, he has served as Minister of State, Minister of Trade, Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, a strategic position for the national economy. His repeated appointments to government roles reflect the high level of trust placed in him at the highest levels of the state.
On the parliamentary front, he also served as a Member of Parliament for Brazzaville for two terms.
Born in Brazzaville, married, and a father of four, Mr. Alphonse Claude N’SILOU is a seasoned statesman whose distinguished career reflects a successful transition from the technical sector to the highest spheres of politics, in service of Congo’s economic and social development.

Ms Hassatou Diop N’Sele is the Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the African Development Bank Group since October 2022. She has been the Group Treasurer from May 2015 to end 2022.
Ms N’Sele is responsible for the mobilization and investment of financial resources for the Bank Group, financial reporting and financial risk management, as well as Client solutions and Syndication. She oversaw the launch of successful balance sheet optimization transactions of the Bank and the introduction of innovative instruments.
She is a seasoned professional, with more than 30 years of banking and finance experience. As Treasurer, she led the expansion of the AfDB capital markets activities across the globe. During her time in Treasury, Ms. N’Sele led a diverse team of professionals in the management of the Bank’s +USD 33 billion borrowing portfolio, oversaw the investment of the Bank Group’s liquidity in multicurrency portfolios, and supervised the back-office operations.
Prior to this position and from 2008, Ms. N’Sele was the Head of funding of the AfDB. Prior to joining the Bank in 1999, she was the finance director of Tiger Denrees Senegal, a commodity trading company, and a Manager at Citibank in Senegal.
Ms. N’Sele is a Senegalese citizen and holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Ms. Judith Nabaasa leads the Debt Management Office at Rwanda's Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, overseeing debt strategy, sustainability assessments, and fiscal risk management.
With over seven years of experience in debt management and macroeconomic analysis, she focuses on optimizing debt structures and maintaining fiscal stability.
She holds a master's degree from the University of Kigali and a postgraduate certificate in capital markets from George Washington University.

Intan Nadia Jalil is the Regional Head, Group Economic and Market Analysis for CIMB Bank Berhad. Her previous appointments include CEO of the PNB Research Institute, Associate Director of Economics at the Malaysian Aviation Commission, and Deputy Director of Research at Khazanah Research Institute.
Ms. Nadia has 17 years of experience in macroeconomics research, and in developing comprehensive economic development policies, strategies, and plans in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, including a term as Malaysian economist for the World Bank. Nadia holds an MSc in Regional and Urban Planning Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and graduated from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom with a BA in Economics.
Namrata Nadkarni is the CEO and Founder of Intent Communications, which specialises in maritime consulting and communications.
With nearly two decades of editorial and marketing work in the maritime industry under her belt, Namrata is an award winning journalist that has worked on well known maritime publications writing about merchant and cruise shipping, ports, safety, dredging, supply chains, decarbonisation, diversity, emerging technology and more.
She has served as a Non-Executive Director of Shoreham Port and chairs the Alternative Fuels Working Group for the World Ports Climate Action Programme (WPCAP) that is focused on delivering the Port Readiness Level framework for Marine Fuels.
Hayatun Nafysa is a Programme Assistant at UNICEF Indonesia. She holds an MBA and Masters in International Business Management from Hanzehogeschool, Groningen, The Netherlands, and Anglia Ruskin University. She started her career as an Internal Auditor in a manufacturing company, and after graduating from her Masters, she started her UN career with the International Trade Centre in Geneva as an intern.
She then went back to her home country, Indonesia, to take up the assignment to help build the financial management capacity of local NGOs that work with UNICEF Indonesia in the Aceh Field Office, coincidentally also her home province. She is now part of the Social Policy cluster at UNICEF Indonesia, supporting the Innovative Financing and Adaptive Social Protection team. Having experiences in the development sector and as an alumni in several youth events and organizations (UNCTAD Youth Forum 2016 and 2018 included), she’s passionate about women empowerment through entrepreneurship, and always strives to make all youths’ voices heard. She looks forward to contributing her competencies in development, putting women and youth at the centre.

Preshanthie Naicker is a respected leader and Natural Scientist serving the South African Public Sector by using her experience in sustainable business development, strategic policy development, innovation integration, and strategic insights. She guarantees local sustainable development strategies that align with current global trends while identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and driving growth in water, biodiversity, and socio-economic sectors to unearth long-term value.
The Nation Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment recognized her action-oriented, quality driven and resilient trademark, leading to her current role as the Project Manager/Director for a full-sized UNDP/GEF 6 international project. Ms Naicker’s career in National Government has focused on the implementation of the Convention of Biological Diversity and related Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-Sharing and recent KM-Global Biodiversity Framework. Ms Naicker’s multi-skilled capability has also positioned her to serve as a Specialist Contributor at the Sustainable Finance Coalition.
