The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and UNCTAD organised a high-level regional consultative meeting on Responsible Sovereign Financing on 25 February 2012 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The objective of the meeting was to review the principles on Responsible Sovereign Lending and Borrowing and explore possible avenues for their implementation.
The regional consultative meeting presented an occasion to bring together policy makers of the region to discuss the principles, in particular from regional and respective national perspectives.
