Side Event at the 2018 ECOSOC Financing for Development Forum: Unlocking the Potential of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to Accelerate Structural Economic Transformation in the LLDCs and the Achievement of the SDGs

This event will provide a platform to discuss best practices in enhancing the contribution of SMEs to economic growth, structural economic transformation and the achievement of the SDGs in Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs). The session will also explore policy options for creating a conducive environment for successful integration of SMEs in LLDCs into global trade.

Participants will include government representatives of LLDCs, as well as experts and representatives of international organizations and the private sector.
