
Dr Amir Lebdioui is a development economist, and Associate Professor in the Department of International Development at the University of Oxford. He was previously based at the SOAS and at the London School of Economics (LSE) where he led a research and policy engagement programme on the Future of Trade in Latin America. His research has focused on the economic diversification of resource-dependent nations, low carbon innovation, biodiversity-based development models. Amir also regularly advises governments and international institutions on green industrial policy strategies. He is an Algerian national and holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge.
Joanne Lebert is Executive Director at IMPACT, having joined in 2011. She leads work to improve how natural resources are managed where security and human rights are at risk. Her work has focused on contributing to responsibly-sourced, conflict-free minerals and she has helped Central African governments launch and implement a regional strategy to tackle conflict minerals.
Ms. Lebert is a policy advisor, frequent guest speaker, and trainer to policymakers, private sector representatives, and civil society organizations.
Ajani Lebourne serves in various capacities as a Leadership and Career Coach, 1st Vice President of the Saint Lucia National Youth Council and Vice Chair- Advocacy and Partnerships for the Commonwealth Students’ Association. He presently studies Political Science at the University of the West Indies.
Ajani is a young leader and professional with expertise in Training and Development, Life Coaching, Leadership and Organizational Management for NGOs. Since 2014, Lebourne has served in leadership capacities within several Civil Society, Public and Private Sector spaces. He is recognized nationally as a changemaker and team-player, dedicated towards improving the leadership capacity of young Saint Lucians. As a student leader, Ajani advocated strongly for equity in education through student support programmes and curriculum reform to maximise the potential of students at all levels. These efforts led him to become a recipient of the 2017 Queen’s Young Leader award and Saint Lucia's Outstanding Student Leader in 2016.
Ajani is an optimist and firm believer in the power of thought leadership to transform lives.

Tina Leboussi is Deputy Director General of Debt at the Ministry of Finance of Gabon. She graduated from the Institute of Economy and Finance in 2003, she joined the Administration in 2004, where she spent her entire career.
Before becoming the Deputy Director General of Debt in October 2023, she successively held several strategic positions including, Officer at the Debt Pro Bureau in the Public Debt Directorate, Research Officer in the Public Debt Directorate, Deputy Director of the Directorate for Negotiation and Mobilization Monitoring, and later Director of the same Directorate.
Based on these experiences, enriched by specialized training, she developed in-depth expertise in public debt management, covering key competencies such as:
- Mastery of procedures of multilateral, bilateral, and commercial lenders,
- Analysis of financing offers,
- Conducting financial negotiations,
- Production and analysis of public debt statistics.
In parallel, she is actively involved in charitable associations.
For more than 25 years, Eric LeCompte has led religious groups to win policies that alleviate poverty, address global conflict and promote human rights. He is the Executive Director of Jubilee USA Network, a development coalition of more than 750 religious groups and organizations. LeCompte advised a United Nations General Assembly process on global sovereign bankruptcy structures to alleviate poverty.
He is a member of expert working groups to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the United Nations Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner.
LeCompte serves on boards of faith-based, development and financial transparency organizations. He is a member of the executive board of the Financial Accountability and Corporate Transparency (FACT) Coalition.

Jae Sung LEE is a senior legal officer at the International Trade Law Division of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs, which functions as the substantive secretariat for UNCITRAL. He is the secretary of Working Group III on Investor-State Dispute Settlement Reform and has served as secretary of working groups on dispute settlement, secured transactions and electronic commerce. Before joining the United Nations in 2007, Jae Sung served in the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Jae Sung is a graduate of Seoul National University College of Law, holds LL.M. degrees from Seoul National University Graduate School of International Studies and NYU School of Law as well as a Ph.D. in Law from Seoul National University.

Thea Lee was named Deputy Undersecretary for International Affairs on May 10, 2021. She has been advocating for workers’ rights, both domestically and internationally, for over thirty years. She was president of the Economic Policy Institute, a progressive pro-worker Washington think tank, from January 2018 to May 2021 and an international trade economist at EPI in the 1990s. From 1997 to 2017, Ms. Lee worked at the AFL-CIO, a voluntary federation of 56 national and international labor unions that represent 12.5 million working men and women. At the AFL-CIO, she served as deputy chief of staff, policy director, and chief international economist.
Ms. Lee has served on the State Department Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy, the Export-Import Bank Advisory Committee, and on the Boards of Directors of the National Bureau of Economic Research, the Congressional Progressive Caucus Center, the Center for International Policy, and the Coalition on Human Needs, among others. She served on the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission from 2018 to 2020. In 2022, she was appointed to the Congressional-Executive Committee on China.
Ms. Lee holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and a bachelor’s degree in economics cum laude from Smith College.

Dr the Honourable Lee Ka Kit, a Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, has been an Executive Director of the Company since 1985 and was the Vice Chairman of the Company from 1993 to May 2019. On 28 May 2019, he was appointed as Chairman and Managing Director, and a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Nomination Committee of the Company. He was educated in the United Kingdom and has been primarily responsible for the development of the business of Henderson Land Group in the People’s Republic of China since he joined the Company in 1985. He is the chairman of Henderson Development Limited. He is also the vice chairman of Henderson Investment Limited as well as the chairman of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited and Towngas Smart Energy Company Limited, all of which are listed companies. He is a member as well as the chairman of the Board of Directors of One Country Two Systems Research Institute. He was awarded an Honorary University Fellowship by The University of Hong Kong in 2009 and an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration by Edinburgh Napier University in 2014. He is the son of the late Dr Lee Shau Kee, the brother of Ms Lee Pui Man, Margaret and Dr Lee Ka Shing, the brother-in-law of Mr Li Ning; and the relative of Madam Fung Lee Woon King;and Ms Li Keng Yan, Kristine.
