Dr Diana Fernández de la Reguera, a marine scientist specializing in climate change and aquatic food production systems, has over 15 years of international experience spanning academia and policy.
Currently serving in the FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture Division, Diana provides strategic and technical support in advancing sustainable aquatic food systems and effective value chains. Key contributions include the planning and implementation of FAO’s Blue Transformation Roadmap and related initiatives.
Diana holds a degree in Marine Sciences, a master’s in Coastal and Water Management, a master’s in Earth and Environmental Sciences, and a PhD in Marine and Coastal Management. Past roles include academic appointments in Europe and the United States, and advisory work for international organizations. Diana has published widely in leading academic journals, and contributed to major technical publications, guidelines, and declarations.

Cani Fernández Vicién serves as the President of the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission.
She graduated in Law with merit from the University of Zaragoza in 1986 and obtained a Special Degree in European Law from the Free University of Brussels in 1987, with Great Distinction.
From 1987 to 2020, she worked as a lawyer in private practice, specializing in EU and Competition Law. Alongside her legal practice, she also taught these subjects at prestigious Spanish and international institutions, including the Toulouse School of Economics, McGeorge University of the Pacific, Carlos III University, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, among others.
Between 1993 and 1997, she served as référendaire at the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Throughout her career, she has held several prominent positions. She was the first woman to be appointed as Co-Chair of the Antitrust Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA). She also served as Vice-Chair of the Economics Committee of the Antitrust Section at the American Bar Association (ABA), Officer of the International Cartel Task Force of the ABA Antitrust Section, and Member of the IBA LPD Council. Additionally, she served as a Non-Governmental Advisor (NGA) to both the EU Commission and the Spanish National Commission for Markets and Competition before the International Competition Network (ICN).
In 2020, she was appointed President of the Spanish National Commission for Markets and Competition. Since January 2021, she has been a member of the Bureau of the OECD Competition Committee.
Her distinctions include the NATO Fellowship Program in 1986. Her professional practice has earned her repeated recognition as one of the 30 best specialists in Competition and Antitrust worldwide in the Best of the Best category of the Expert Guides. She was also named one of the 100 Women in Antitrust Worldwide by Global Competition Review (GCR). In 2018 and 2019, Chambers recognized her as a “Star Individual” in her field in Spain, and she became the first woman to receive Chambers’ “Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession” award.
She is the author of numerous publications on Competition and EU Law and is a frequent speaker on these topics at international forums and conferences.

Renato Ferrandi is the Director for International and EU Affairs of the Italian Competition Authority. He represents the Authority in international fora (including ICN, OECD, UNCTAD and G7 Competition Summit), manages bilateral cooperation projects and participates as speaker in international exchanges and capacity building projects.
Renato has more than twenty years of experience on competition and consumer protection. He was case manager of numerous investigations at the Italian Competition Authority, carried out several market studies and drafted formal opinions addressed to the Government or the Parliament.
Between May 2019 and January 2023, he worked at the OECD as the Head of the Regional Competition Centre for policy advice and capacity-building in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
He was also a Seconded National Expert at the DG COMP of the European Commission for three years, between 2010 and 2013. He worked inter alia on the Ebooks case, on a State infringement case regarding digital TV spectrum in Italy, and on the assignment of premium sports rights in Europe.

Secretary for International Affairs - State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Former Secretary for Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Economy of Brazil and Brazil's senior director for the New Development Bank (NDB) and for the Latin American Development Bank (CAF).
He served as Brazil's alternate governor for the Inter-American Development Bank and for FONPLATA Development Bank. Held positions as senior advisor to the World Bank, UNCTAD, the American Chamber of Commerce for Brazil and the International Chamber of Commerce. Graduated in Chemical Engineer, holds a doctorate in economics from Getulio Vargas Foundation in São Paulo and is one of the coordinators of the Brazilian Chair at the World Trade Organization.
Ms. Fessehaie is Head, SheTrades Initiative at the International Trade Centre (ITC), a joint agency of UNCTAD and the WTO. In this capacity, she oversees a portfolio of projects and programmes spanning capacity-building and access to markets for women producers and entrepreneurs; partnerships with business support organisations and corporates; and gender mainstreaming into trade policy-making.
Prior to joining ITC, Judith managed the trade and development programme at a leading Geneva-based think tank; and worked as a trade, industrial and regional value chain advisor at the Johannesburg-based Centre for Competition, Regulation and Economic Development (CCRED); TradeMark Southern Africa, Zambia's Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry and the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat. She also taught an MPhil in Industrial Policy run by UN IDEP – University of Johannesburg.

Ambassador Fevrier, is the current Coordinator of the CARICOM Group of Ambassadors in Geneva, responsible for aligning regional positions at the WTO and in other key negotiating fora. He is also the outgoing Chair of the Working Group on Trade and Transfer of Technology at the WTO.
Ambassador Fevrier, has over 20 years of dedicated experience in trade policy development and negotiation and has served in a number of advisory capacities in the Geneva as well as in the Pacific region.
Mr. Fevrier has published on international trade and the Blue Economy. He holds a Bachelor's degree (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario, a Law degree from the University of London and a Master of Laws in International Commercial Law from the University of Westminster.

Gabriela Figueiredo Dias is the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) Chair and co-CEO of the International Foundation for Ethics and Audit (IFEA). Gabriela previously served as Executive Chair of the Portuguese Securities Commission (CMVM), the financial markets and audit regulator. She has been a member of the Board of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), Vice Chair of Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Corporate Governance Committee, member of the European Corporate Governance Network (ECGN) and founding member of the Portuguese Corporate Governance Institute. She is President of the General Board of the University of Coimbra. She has published extensively on capital markets, corporate governance, auditing, and sustainability. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law from the Coimbra University (Portugal) and a certificate in Leadership and Communications from Nova University (Lisbon).
Birknesh is a Production Planner at Peli Biothermal, specializing in optimizing production schedules and supply chain efficiency for high-quality temperature-controlled packaging solutions. With a strong foundation in procurement and logistics, Birknesh began her career as a Procurement Intern at UNOPS, where she gained valuable experience in sourcing strategy and supplier management within international development contexts. Birknesh holds a master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, and a bachelor’s degree from Mekelle University in Ethiopia. Passionate about operational excellence and data-driven planning, she is dedicated to driving continuous improvement across the supply chain to enhance performance and sustainability.

Jason File is Director of Legal Affairs and General Counsel at the US Council for International Business (USCIB) in New York, where, among other things, he leads USCIB’s delegation to international bodies addressing the international dispute resolution system, including UNCITRAL Working Group III, the UNIDROIT / ICC Working Group on International Investment Contracts, and the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. Prior to USCIB, Jason worked as a trial attorney in public and private international law. He has worked in law firms in London and New York, appearing in international commercial and investor-state arbitrations, and has also served as a UN war crimes prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague. Jason has taught international law at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP Europe) and is a graduate of Yale University (B.A.), the University of Oxford (M.Phil.) and Yale Law School (J.D.).
Alan Findlay is a senior administrator at the European Court of Auditors (ECA) and works for its Quality Control Committee. During his long career at the ECA, Alan has audited most EU policy areas. The ECA is currently Chair of the INTOSAI Professional Standards Committee and Alan is currently mainly in supporting its secretariat and looking after its four subcommittees.
Alan has previously worked for the European Parliament in Luxembourg and in local government in the UK as an internal auditor and accountant. He has degrees from the universities of Stirling and Leicester, and is a Member and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy in the United Kingdom.
