
Daniel Arribas Gonzalez is the Director General for Consumer Affairs of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and 2030 Agenda, of the government of Spain.
Daniel Arribas holds degrees in Law and Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, as well as a Master’s degree in European Union Law from the same university. In the previous legislative term, he worked as the legal head at the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, leading regulatory production and legal advising in that area.
As a lawyer, he has specialized in Competition Law. He has developed his career in both national and international law firms and has participated in providing legal advice on administrative sanction proceedings before national and EU authorities, as well as in procedures related to merger control, state aid, and advertising law.
Arancha González is the third Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po and the first woman to lead the world's third school for Politics and International Studies.
Prior to joining PSIA, Ms González served as Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (2020-2021). She previously was Assistant-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the International Trade Centre (2013-2020). Between 2005 and 2013 she served as Chief of Staff to the Director-General of the World Trade Organization, Pascal Lamy. Before that she held senior positions at the European Commission in the areas of international trade and development. Ms González started her career as a lawyer in the private sector.
Ms González has been a member of PSIA's Strategic Committee since 2017.
A Spanish national, Ms González holds a degree in law from the University of Navarra and a Postgraduate Degree in European Law from the University Carlos III of Madrid.
Javier Juan Vicente Ramón González-Olaechea Franco is a Peruvian political scientist, diplomat and politician. He has served as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of Peru since 7 November 2023.
He previously he held the positions of advisor to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, as well as in the portfolios of Labor, Interior and Energy and Mines.
Mr. González-Olaechea has served as an executive member of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Organization of American States (OAS) and the International Labor Organization (ILO).
Mary Beth Goodman took up duties as Deputy Secretary-General on 4 April 2024, bringing her extensive expertise and leadership experience in economic development, trade, anti-corruption, and democratic governance around the world.
As Deputy Secretary-General, Ms Goodman is responsible for the environment, public governance, and development portfolios of the OECD. This includes responsibility for sustainable development, climate finance and anti-corruption as well as the Blue Dot Network.
From 2021 to 2023, she was the United States Coordinator for Global COVID Response and Health Security, having previously served as Special Assistant to President Barack Obama and Senior Director for Development and Democracy at the US National Security Council.
Ms Goodman has also been a leader in civil society, co-founding an organisation to investigate links between corruption, kleptocracy, and human rights abuses in Africa. Prior, she had a distinguished career in the Foreign Service, serving in diplomatic roles in Pakistan, Mali, and Washington, D.C.
Before her diplomatic career, she practiced international trade law, participating in free trade agreement negotiations and advising on trade compliance matters.
Paula Gopee-Scoon was re-appointed Minister of Trade and Industry on August 19th, 2020. She has been a Member of Parliament since 2007 and previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
In her second term as Minister of Trade and Industry, she continues to build upon and expand programmes initiated in the last five years in an effort to improve the export capacity of the local manufacturing sector and position Trinidad and Tobago as the business and trade hub of the Caribbean. She will also continue to lead the charge towards stimulating domestic and foreign investments while implementing policies to enhance the global competitiveness of Trinidad and Tobago. She believes in continuous stakeholder engagement to ensure participation in the growth and development of all sectors for a sustainable and vibrant economy.
Her personal interests extend to the deepening of Caribbean integration and she believes in and is committed to equal opportunities for personal growth, self-expression and participation in the development process of Trinidad and Tobago, for all citizens.
As a principal investor, senior manager, company founder, and advisor to the German government, Jörg currently serves as the CEO of KfW Capital, a subsidiary of the German state-owned KfW Group and a leading European VC fund investor, which he co-founded in 2018.
Previous stations of his career include The Blackstone Group, Cerberus Capital and BNP Paribas. Earlier in his career, he held positions at The Boston Consulting Group, and Metzler Bank.
Jörg holds a PhD in Finance and a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Economics.
Tomoe Gotoda is currently working as a high school teacher in Social Studies and English language in Japan. She has been a participant to the first UNCTAD Youth Forum in Nairobi and the second Youth Forum in Geneva. During the first Youth Forum, she was in the quality of education group.
Tomoe took a teaching course in College while majoring in Economics. She is also a coordinator of Youth Action Hub Japan since 2019 where she is raising awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals among the Japanese youth.

Ricardo Gottschalk is a Senior Economist in the United Nations' Resident Coordinator Office (RCO) in South Africa where he coordinates SDG-related research and analysis. Between 2012-2020, he worked at UNCTAD, Geneva.
Prior to that, he was a Research Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies, Brighton UK, where he co-directed the MPhil Development Studies and convened the MA Globalisation and Development.
He holds a BA in Economics from the University of São Paulo, and MA and DPhil degrees in economics from the University of Sussex, UK.
