
Ms. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana is currently the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
Prior to joining ESCAP, Ms. Alisjahbana was Professor of Economics at Universitas Padjadjaran in Bandung, Indonesia. Since 2016, she has served as Director for the Center for Sustainable Development Goals Studies at Universitas Padjadjaran and Vice Chair of the Indonesian Academy of Sciences.
From 2009 to 2014, she was Minister of National Development Planning and the Head of the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS), Indonesia. She served as Co-chair of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation from 2012 to 2014. From 2009 to 2014, she was Alternate Governor of the World Bank and Alternate Governor of the Asian Development Bank representing the government of Indonesia. In 2016, she was a member of the High Level Independent Team of Advisors to support the ECOSOC Dialogue on the longer term positioning of the United Nations Development System.
Ms. Alisjahbana earned her Bachelor degree in Economics and Development Studies from Universitas Indonesia, Indonesia, a Masters degree in Economics from Northwestern University, USA and a Ph.D in Economics from University of Washington, USA. She was awarded the Mahaputra Adipradana Order (Bintang Mahaputra Adipradana) from the Republic of Indonesia, honorary brevet from the Indonesian Navy and honorary flight wing from the Indonesian Air Force.
Sabina Alkire has a DPhil in Economics, and directs the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) in the University of Oxford, where she is Professor of Poverty and Human Development. OPHI advances the measurement and policy use of multidimensional poverty (and well-being) indices (MPIs) – such as the global MPI released jointly with UNDP, and also accompanies national official poverty statistics tailored multidimensional indices to country contexts.
Alkire’s research focuses on Sen’s capability approach; well-being and poverty measurement and analysis; child, gendered and intrahousehold analyses of multidimensional poverty indices; and poverty data.
Shawn Alleyne is President at Pyroglyphics. He is a multidisciplined creator. He is a freelance Visual Artist, Writer, Inker, Designer, Publisher, Teacher and Curator. Born and raised in Barbados, he currently resides in Philadelphia where he uses his gritty self-taught technique to produce work that fuses the elements of sci-fi, mythology, afrofuturism, with his Caribbean roots and love of hip-hop in a unique style. This has been put on display with his work being a part of numerous art exhibits including ones at The Schomburg Institute, the Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, and his solo art exhibit Afroglyphics. His work has been published and showcased through numerous creative mediums in comics, novels, video game design, and music videos. His self-published anthologies- The Scribes of Nyota and The Scribes of Nyota: Mystics, have provided publishing opportunities for other writers and artists. Parallel to his artistic achievements he also seeks to build the bonds of the artistic community.

Lian Allub is a principal economist at the Socioeconomic división at CAF. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. His research interests focus on the macroeconomic aspects of economic development and international trade in developing economies. At CAF he has been the editor of the 2021 Report on Economic Development, “Pathways to Integration: Trade facilitation, infrastructure and global value chains” and the 2024 Report on Economic Development “Renewed Energies: a just energy transition for sustainable development”. He has also published at the Journal of Monetary Economics, European Economic Review and The Economic Journal.
Sharon Almanza is a Career Executive Service Officer and currently the Treasurer of the Philippines of the Bureau of the Treasury, an attached agency of the Department of Finance.
Before assuming her current role, she served as the Officer-in-Charge of the Bureau of the Treasury. Preceding this position, she held the title of Deputy Treasurer of the Philippines wherein she headed the Accounting Service, Research and Regional Operations, and Asset Management Service.
he was seconded to the World Bank Group (WBG) from 2021 to 2023 as the Alternate Executive Director and Senior Advisor for the Constituency of Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Philippines, Suriname, and Trinidad & Tobago.
She also held various positions at the Department of Finance as the Chief of the Debt and Risk Management Division (DRMD) of the International Finance Group and Officer-in-Charge of the Multilateral Assistance Division.

Abdullah AlMunif is the Vice President of Commercial Business at Saudi Ports Authority -MAWANI-, bringing over twenty years of profound experience in the maritime and ports sector, with a focus on shipping and terminal and logistics operations. His impressive tenure at MAWANI is marked by significant achievements, showcasing his relentless dedication and superior leadership skills in the maritime and ports sector.
Before joining MAWANI, Abdullah spent fifteen years at Maersk, a worldwide leader in shipping services. At Maersk, he rose to become the Head of Operations for an essential group of countries, including KSA, Yemen, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, and Iraq. This role demonstrated his outstanding leadership capabilities and operational expertise.
Abdullah's deep knowledge and strategic perspective on the maritime sector establish him as a key influencer in the evolution of port and shipping operations.

H.E. Mr. Abdullah Kh. Almusaibeeh is currently President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), a position he assumed on 1 July 2025. In this role, he oversees the Bank’s operations and strategic activities to advance economic and financial cooperation between Arab and African countries.
Before joining BADEA, Mr. Almusaibeeh served as Director of Operations at the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, where he held several senior leadership positions since joining the Fund in 1993. These included Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Arab countries, as well as Deputy Director of Operations.
Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous boards, committees, and Arab and international development funds, including membership in BADEA’s Board of Directors.

Abdullah AlOmayr is an accomplished executive and strategic leader in the field of international agreements, currently holding the esteemed position of General Manager of International Agreements at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment since October 2020. With over 20 years of experience across the public and private sectors, AlOmayr has cultivated a profound expertise in the intricacies of international investment agreements, trade negotiations, and arbitration. He is recognized for his critical role in driving Saudi Arabia’s global investment strategy, leading high-stakes negotiations that shape bilateral and multilateral agreements in alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 economic goals. As the Head of the Saudi Negotiations Team for Trade in Services and International Investment Agreements, AlOmayr coordinates complex diplomatic negotiations that involve liaising with senior stakeholders worldwide, ensuring that Saudi Arabia’s interests are advocated and protected on the global stage. His leadership in these areas reflects his deep understanding of international economic law and his exceptional capability to navigate cross-border legal and regulatory frameworks. Prior to his current role, AlOmayr held prominent positions across pivotal organizations, including the General Authority of Civil Aviation, where he served as Manager of International Organizations Affairs, and the Saudi Exports Authority as Trade Facilitation Department Manager. His tenure at the Ministry of Commerce, where he was the Director General of the Negotiations Department, further cemented his expertise in trade policy and international agreements. These roles have given him invaluable experience in arbitration and dispute resolution, allowing him to address legal complexities with a strategic and solution-oriented approach. AlOmayr’s academic credentials are equally distinguished. He holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from Latrobe University, Australia, which provides a robust foundation in international business regulations and arbitration principles. Additionally, he completed advanced studies in international trade and WTO agreements in Geneva and is an alumnus of Stanford University’s Business Management Program, where he honed his leadership and strategic planning skills. He has also undertaken specialized training in dispute settlement and international investment law, adding to his multifaceted legal expertise. In addition to his leadership in negotiations, AlOmayr has served on numerous national and international committees, such as the Saudi Committee for International Air Services Agreements and the GCC Trade and Security Committees, where his insights have been instrumental in shaping policies that enhance Saudi Arabia’s competitive position in the global marketplace. His work has included significant contributions to workshops and seminars focused on enforcing intellectual property rights and improving trade facilitation. A highly respected figure in international diplomacy and investment, AlOmayr’s career is marked by his commitment to advancing Saudi Arabia’s economic interests through principled negotiation and strategic partnerships.
